A T-80BVM that was taking part in the attempted recovery of the T-80BV received minor damage.

/3 For those who do not understand “why destroy abandoned tanks”. Abandoned equipment is destroyed if it is impossible to pick it up yourself to prevent the evacuation of equipment by enemy forces. These tanks were ~4 km deep into territory considered to be controlled by Russia.

@shashj I do suspect the recent talk from certain capitals about putting pressure on Ukraine to negotiate actually could embolden Russia.
That it could seen in Moscow as an indicator that the West doesn't have the stomach for a long war and that fractures in Western unity is possible.
