@_LOAC_lawyer I think I have mentioned before that Bakhmut could be a Russian attempt at forcing Ukraine to commit reserves intended for other purposes, with the aim of preventing a Ukrainian offensives somewhere. And also buy time for the mobilization to generate new offensive capability.

@pati_marins64 5P85SM and 5P85SM2[-01] launchers are very similar externally, however new angles (especially the side view) allow to identify it as a part of the S-400 system.

For comparison here is a photo of how the 5P85SM looks like from the same angle.

The issue isn't whether Ukrainians can master the Abrams⁠—they can⁠—it's which tank can they master and employ sooner. Ukraine needs to achieve gains this year, these tanks will increase Ukraine's chances for success, and the best window for offensives begins in a few months.

@pati_marins64 We understand what are you talking about - but this is an export variant and the only place in Russia where it is deployed, to our knowledge, is an air defense training center. It's doubtful that it would be brought from there, but we are glad to be corrected.
