We'll have to wait and see whether Russia will achieve a 1.5 million strong military. What is notable is that the Russian MoD has seemingly drawn the lesson that divisions are a more useful formation than brigades and they need additional military districts for C2.

Sergei Shoigu also held a meeting to discuss increasing the size of the military to 1.5 million. Changes include creating Moscow and Leningrad military districts, an army corps in Karelia, three motorized rifle divisions, and 2 VDV air assault divisions.

Canada is delivering 200 more Senator armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine, Defence Minister Anita Anand announced during a visit to Kyiv on Wednesday.

It’s expected all 200 vehicles will be send to Ukraine by the summer.

On January 12, Vadzim Baranau from Mazyr was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment for sending a video of the Russian military, @viasna96 reports. They also confiscated the phone with which “the crime” was committed.
