Not sure how this will be applied, but I try to almost always provide a source for the videos and photos I share. That way people can determine the credibility of the source themselves (e.g. Ukrainian military facebook accounts) and can track where the content originates.

I think this is generally better for research and transparency reasons (as well as crediting the original source). Oftentimes, videos will get shared and the context of who shared them gets lost, especially when looking back at old videos/posts.

Imo, Twitter is the best social media platform for conflict studies/information. Much of the content originates on Telegram, but it is seen and discussed by a larger audience on Twitter often before reaching Instagram or Facebook. But some accounts first post on those two sites.

Twitter benefits from the reposting of content from other sites, which sometimes includes Facebook and Instagram. It doesn't sound as though this violates the intent of the new policy, but it depends how it will be implemented and who is doing the moderation.
