#Ukraine: Ukrainian forces for the first time were spotted using a German 🇩🇪 M113-based Beobachtungspanzer artillery observation vehicle, seen recovering a BMP-1.
Used for directing artillery fire, it is equipped with a laser rangefinder, navigation and various optical systems.

It is unclear what country provided these vehicles, since they were withdrawn from German service back in 2002. That said, it was recently reported that Lithuania, a known user of ex-German M113, donated "two fire control tanks" to Ukraine.
