If we take a more detailed look on the north, the ground will start to freeze within a few days and gradually get harder. It will be interesting to see if the AFU will try to utilize the hard ground to conduct offensive maneuvers.

I changed liberated area to fully include Tabaivka and Berestove. According to wargonzo the RyAF shelled the AFU in Tabaivka, Berestove and Krokhmal'ne. The latter settlement consists of about 4 houses,

The AFU reported repulsed attacks around Yakolivka, Soledar, Bakhmut and Andriivka.
Ru propagandists clamed they were inside Soledar, but according to the information I'm getting this is false.

There is a canal to the west of those settlements which provides a natural obstacle. This canal is only 15 meters wide, but will still provide a challenge for the Russian dismounted infantry.

For a fully functional combined arms army, a 15 meter canal might not be much of a challenge, but with the current state of the RuAF, this might be hard to cross. The Russians will be funneled in to kill-zones when trying to cross.

RuAF focused heavily on the encirclement of Avdiivka today. The AFU repulsed attacks around Optyne, Voydane, Pervomians'ke, Nevel's'ke and Novomykhailivka. No sign of increased activity in the area south of Donetsk despite reports about RU troop accumulation.

Taking Polohy plus the road south of it, would cut of a Russian supply route by road and put an important railroad crossing in theoretical artillery range.
