RT @PaulJawin: Soldier PMC Wagner surrenders in Donetsk region. His unit was destroyed, a drone led him to the place of surrender. K2 group of the 54th brigade at work https://twitter.com/PaulJawin/status/1593675767975665664/video/1

Of course, a video of a tank exploding is more likely to go viral on social media than a mundane video of tanks performing their roles as expected. That's why it is important to note that we are not seeing the full picture of this war, and we need to only draw tentative lessons.

@Dumbnickel @JohnB_Schneider I believe the washing machine number is bloated, there is no way they care that much about hygiene.

@David_Hambling There are videos, but I think much of the tank-on-tank combat in this war occurred in the first month when fewer people had UAVs to record the fighting.

A place has been opened in Kherson where you can warm up, get hot drink, food, and charge your phone.
P.S:And of course connect to the Internet and show your beloved babusya how Russian tanks explode

@applarson Exactly. Very easy to record a Stugna-P engagement, not as easy to record other weapons being used.
Rob Lee (Twitter)

@Measuredhead Yes, and I posted that video as well. I think there are plenty of cases of tanks performing that role but they are rarely recorded.

In particular, we should be skeptical of lessons drawn from this war that Ukrainian soldiers disagree with (e.g. the relevance of tanks).

Finland buys 38 more self propelled howitzers days after announcing record military aid package to Ukraine. 👀
-----------
@a7_FIN_SWE:
Finland buys 38 more K9 armoured howitzers from South Korea. Originally Finland bought 48 and had an option for 48 more. Part of the option, 10 units, was already exercised, so now the option will be fully exercised.

@deimosrises Much of it comes from the Russian side.

@Measuredhead The issue is that if you have a limited number of UAVs, you'll probably use them to locate enemy positions and correct fire. Some Russian correspondents use their UAVs more to watch their tanks in operation (for PR), which is why we often see more tank combat footage from them.
