I pronounce it normally in Russian and Ukrainian but writing it with a bunch of different letters in English, makes no sense to me. It’s like trying to write some Chinese words in English, they’ll never sound or be pronounced the same way.

The problem is that you are making a big deal about transcribing words from a different language. It’s like trying to write Chinese words in English, it’s hard because the letters are very different.

It’s not pronounced the exact same way in Russian and Ukrainian and I don’t pronounce it with a v. But to make fun of me for spelling is disrespectful

Me writing words in English and me saying words in Ukrainian sounds different for most words. I don’t think that is something to make fun of someone for. People today are not very nice to each other.
