RT @YudinGreg: First: Motivation. Russian army has no business in Ukraine. No number of draftees will solve this problem. In fact, it will only make things worse, because every next batch is less motivated that the previous one. Russia is simply running out of idiots 2/9

NIP "Tysk" prepared a massive article regarding the Battle of Hostomel in February 2022.

It contains so many insights I don't even know what to begin with. Just read it, you won't be disappointed.

@konrad_muzyka Perhaps Syria was the closest to be called a "successful" one, but it's a unique and specific case

@masao22311 Did I?

@DefMon3:
@J_JHelin @EcasticF This could be rotation of units. I think we have to follow the advice of the great twitter prophet Geroman and let time tell.

Kherson
The only thing that is clear, is the approximate frontline. Russia keep sending reinforcements to the front lines. They are evacuating civilians, exactly why is unclear. One reason could be they don't want to have them report a retreat. https://t.co/eNWsto3Dvz

@masao22311 As you can see, I'm not making any such claims.
"I believe this is very likely"

@DefMon3:
Multiple sources tells me RuAF has no intention of abandoning Kherson and they are just rotating troops. I believe this is very likely.

RT @RALee85: We shouldn't dismiss Ukraine's chances of achieving further gains over the winter. Russia's force is increasingly composed of involuntary soldiers (mobilized, stop-loss, etc.). Bad weather presents challenges but also opportunities for UA units with better discipline and morale.
Dan (Twitter)

RT @RALee85: Ukraine has demonstrated a greater ability to strike targets behind Russia's lines with SOF, partisans, UAVs, and precision fires than Russia. That means Ukraine can continue to raise costs for Russian forces and their occupation efforts even if the front is relatively static.

RT @RALee85: Plus Ukraine has momentum and clear strategic objectives, while Russian soldiers are increasingly questioning their leadership. I suspect Ukraine will take more territory over the winter.

@ZelenskaUA:
"Ours". How much power is in this word. Thousands of people on Kherson streets meet their defenders with blue and yellow flags – footage that bring tears to the eyes of every Ukrainian today. Ours are at home. Kherson is free. Soon the whole 🇺🇦 will be free. https://t.co/tDu8zrK0ec
