@andreasgal Presumably they would try to compensate with artillery, MLRS, and air strikes to cover the withdrawal, but yeah. It would be very risky, but so would be trying to hold their positions.

Kots says this is what happened to the 27th Motorized Rifle Brigade near Svatove, which is manned with mobilized soldiers. He says some mobilized soldiers arrived at the front without training. He also notes that other units use cloud cover to move.

@MassDara No, but I'm sure both sides have been using cloud cover to conceal their movements. Both sides are using DJI UAVs, so they know their limitations. Plus, Kots was in Karabakh, and the TB2 played a smaller role in the final week of the war because it was overcast.
