Ukraine's "KRAKEN" special unit released a 9-minutes-long video material from the operation to liberate the city of Balakliya in Kharkiv Oblast, launched on September 6.

It contains some interesting footage, and provides rare insight on how the battle really looked like.

As the first part showed final preparations and initial advances, below we can see the Ukrainians entering a former Russian warehouse and Ukrainian strikes on Russian positions with a wide spectrum of weapons: 82mm mortars, BM-21 Grad MRL, D-30 towed howitzers and a tank.

In the final part, the Ukrainian forces enter the centre of Balakliya and secure the city. The members of the "KRAKEN" unit take down some Russian flags and raise the Ukrainian flag over the building of the regional administration in Balakliya.
