@Cricketador @APHClarkson There are plenty of videos of Russian tanks getting hit by ATGMs where the crew survives. ATGM strikes on BTRs or BMPs will almost always be catastrophic. Same risk if you reduce the armor for a light tank.

The opening phase of this war was somewhat of an aberration because Russia didn't execute a combined arms operation. So we need to be careful about drawing warfare lessons from it. Of course, Ukraine is using tanks as part of its offensive in Kherson. 2/
