@KeKihlstrom It’s really depends, I do not believe the bridge strike will be soon. US will want to test other targets to see if ATACMS can be hit down, ATCMS and normal HIMARS are are very different. ATACMS is much older and only fires 1 instead of 6. 🇺🇸 won’t use ATACMS if it gets shot down.

@WarfareReports Russia has put a lot of air defense around it, there are most likely multiple Pantsir systems, S-300’s, S-400’s, Tor Sam, ships to deflect radar, and possibly S-500’s. Plus Ukraine would need to destroy both Bridges because there is a normal bridge then there is a railway bridge.

@WarfareReports Also ATACMS is different than normal HIMARS ammo, it cost significantly more, fires only 1 shot instead of 6, the missiles are older and less accurate. USA doesn’t know whether they will be shot down or not. They would need to test it on other targets to see if it gets shot down.

Russian forces in the Avdiivka area are experimenting by taking a single Grad MLRS tube transported by an UAZ-469 and firing it on Ukrainian positions. They say the risk of counter-battery fire there is very high.
