Rosgvardia Colonel Alexander Beloglazov, the commander of the 604th Special Purpose Center's Vityaz unit, and Colonel Andrey Frolenkov, the deputy commander of Bryansk's OMON, were both awarded the Hero of Russia. Frolenkov's unit seized Chernobyl.
