According to Dosye Shpiona, 13 servicemen of Russia’s elite Vityaz Special Purpose Center were killed in an avalanche in the Bezengi Gorge, Kabardino-Balkaria, on September 6. Another serviceman is reportedly in a coma.

Russian authorities have also confirmed that an avalanche in the Bezengi Gorge, Kabardino-Balkaria, struck a training camp used by Russian security personnel on September 6. Claiming least 12 people have been confirmed dead, while five remain missing.
