❗️Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has officially confirmed that the Swedish-supplied ASC 890 airborne early warning and control aircraft has been conducting combat missions over Ukraine since March 2026.

The aircraft can detect aerial targets at long range, coordinate fighter operations and improve the effectiveness of F-16, Mirage 2000 and in the near future Gripen operations.

Russia’s icebreaker ADMIRAL MAKAROV caught fire today at the Kronstadt Marine Plant while undergoing major repairs.

The fire broke out in the steering gear compartment in the aft section of the vessel and spread over roughly 80–100 m² before being extinguished.

The 135-meter diesel-electric icebreaker is currently undergoing a major overhaul worth about $23 million, with roughly another $11.5 million allocated for repairs to its main engines. The extent of damage from today’s fire is not yet known.

The motorcade carrying US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff was spotted heading to the Kremlin short time ago. There, the Americans are set to hold talks with Russian officials on the settlement of the war.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, Kushner and Witkoff are expected to travel to Kyiv and meet with the Ukrainians for similar negotiations.
