Yes indeed. But did you also see the state of the young VDV POW captured in tweet 8?

I suspect that some of the VDV units are hollowed out with the same type of loosers we saw being sent to other units. 810th Naval Infantry comes to mind.

June 2023 deserves permanent memory, because for one day the empire’s curtain fell.

A warlord took Rostov — a city of a million, headquarters of the southern military district — before breakfast, without a fight. His column then drove toward Moscow. Eight hundred kilometers of Russia lay ahead.

And here is what that column met: almost nothing. A handful of pilots died alone. No division moved. Governors evaporated into silence. State television stammered. Moscow’s response was to dig trenches into its own highways — while in Rostov, citizens brought the mutineers water and took selfies.

Twenty-four hours. Then a deal, brokered by a neighbor, because the Kremlin could not stop the column itself.

Understand what was revealed, because it cannot be un-revealed: nobody fought for the regime. Not the army, not the people, not the elite. A state whose strength is projection met one armed test from inside — and the projection flickered.

The mutineer died two months later, on schedule.

But everyone in Moscow saw what he proved. The throne is guarded by fear alone.

And fear is a garrison that deserts at the first shot.
