And some people keep talking about fuel shortages in Russia, while they have oil literally falling from the sky. https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/2066093575448699025#m

The December 2024 assault near Lyptsi by the Khartia Brigade was an impressive operation, but only the first stage was unmanned. On the first day, Khartia employed UGVs and UAVs to inflict casualties (mostly caused by Mavic drops) on Russian forces to set conditions for an assault. The second day involved a company-size mechanized assault with infantry who dismounted from BMP-1TS and M113 APCs. Drones did not seize or hold terrain, infantry did.

We recently fought two unnecessary decades-long wars of occupation. The invasion of Iraq was sold to Americans with falsehoods and exaggerations. Thousands of American and our allies' servicemembers died for no strategic gain in Afghanistan. Many of our current problems are a result of not sufficiently valuing the lives of American servicemembers, particularly the enlisted infantrymen who bear the heaviest burden of our wars.

@ELuttwak: Fair enough, but with our recent history, it is reasonable for Americans to be skeptical of military action. I don't think this means Americans are unwilling to fight or to take casualties.
