🇸🇪🇺🇦 Ukraine and Sweden signed an agreement on Gripen fighter jets during a joint press conference in Uppsala!

The agreement includes enabling the procurement of up to 20 Gripen E/F fighters using EU-backed funding, while Sweden also donates 16 Gripen C/D aircraft as direct military assistance.

The announcement was made as part of Sweden’s largest military support package for Ukraine to date, which also includes long-range strike capabilities, ammunition, electronic warfare systems, and defense innovation support.

RT @Forsvarsdep: Norway 🇳🇴 and France 🇫🇷 have signed a comprehensive defence agreement under which the two countries commit to come to each other’s aid should the need arise.

‘The Narvik Agreement is an important part of our hedging strategy.
