For 2026 Russians also planned (apart from those plans that failed) to create new units and reorganise already existing.

❗️🇺🇸🇩🇪 German Def Min Pistorius is planning a trip to DC to revive Germany's request to buy Typhon MRC & Tomahawk cruise missiles. ~FT

The US Army plans to field 5 batteries, with Lockheed Martin delivering 1 per year since FY23. The final battery was ordered in FY25, with a gap in FY26 between some new Reduced Battery Footprint equipment being ordered in FY27.

Having a German order put on contract in FY26 would have better protected the integrity of the production line. The delivery schedules suggest some gaps might exist that need to be mitigated by slowing down the delivery of the Army's final battery.

The Trump Administration should be very grateful to still have the opportunity to make this sale.
