"For the duration of the parade (from 10 a.m. Kyiv time on May 9, 2026), the territorial square of Red Square will be excluded from the plan for the use of Ukrainian weapons," the decree says.

Принцип дзеркальності в наших діях добре відомий та був доведений російській стороні. Додатковим аргументом для України у визначенні нашої позиції завжди є вирішення одного з ключових гуманітарних питань цієї війни, а саме – звільнення військовополонених. Красна площа для нас менш важлива, ніж життя українських полонених, яких можна повернути додому.
Саме тому сьогодні в рамках перемовного процесу за посередництва американської сторони ми отримали згоду Росії провести обмін військовополонених у форматі 1000 на 1000. Також має бути встановлений режим тиші 9, 10 та 11 травня. Україна послідовно працює для повернення своїх людей із російського полону. Доручив нашій команді оперативно підготувати все необхідне для обміну.
Дякую Президенту Сполучених Штатів та його команді за результативну дипломатичну участь. Розраховуємо, що Сполучені Штати забезпечать виконання домовленостей російською стороною.

Pro-Kremlin channels publish footage of the building of Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv monitored from a Russian Gerbera long-range UAV.
Gerbera drones are employed by the Russians for long-range reconnaissance in advance of large-scale aerial attacks.
The timing is likely not coincidental. Russian Defense Ministry has threatened to strike decision-making centers in Kyiv if Ukraine targets the Victory Day parade in Moscow.
But now a ceasefire has been announced, so all of this might be meaningless if it holds up.

There has truly been a turning point in the war in Ukraine from Kyiv in 3 days to Putin practically pleading with Trump and Zelensky for a ceasefire for his armourless may 9th parade to hold the finally strands of legitimacy for his crumbling empire.

May 9th would have been remembered for years, as Moscow was hit hard by hundreds of Ukrainian drones during its annual parade.
