"Overall, it's telling that the real reason for the warning by Russian Defense Ministry regarding strike on Kyiv wasn't attacks with Western missiles deep into the country, nor the burned-out oil depots and refineries, nor Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod—but the threat of disrupting the May 9th parade.
Is there any need to comment on the level of priorities here? We don't think there is any need. The main thing is to parade tanks around Red Square once a year, and the rest is just vanity."
