@MrKevinRothrock: It's true that there is a seasonal dimension to the fighting and Russia typically advances at a faster rate in the summer-fall, but there are also reasons to think that Russia will face more difficulty advancing this year than last year. I also think we will see more Ukrainian offensive operations this year. Given the adaptation cycle, it is difficult to predict how things will go more than a few months in advance though.
