#BREAKING: Russia announces an unconditional ceasefire with Ukraine on May 8-9.
"If Ukraine attempts to implement its criminal plans to disrupt Victory Day celebrations, the Russian Armed Forces will launch a retaliatory strike on central Kyiv," Russian Defense Ministry said in its statement.
Moscow also warned Kyiv's civilian population and employees of foreign diplomatic missions to leave the city promptly.
"Despite its capabilities, Russia previously refrained from striking central Kyiv for humanitarian reasons," the statement also reads.
