But they are not being that effective because Ukraine built a decent interceptor system based on drones, radars and software.

The Fighter Bomber channel and RBK both state that Colonel General Aleksandr Chayko has been appointed commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). Chayko previously commanded Russian forces in Syria three times and was the commander of the Eastern Military District at the beginning of the war during its failed advance towards Kyiv, which included the atrocities committed in Bucha and other villages.
