RT @cossackgundi: Four years ago today, the Russians made what was probably one of the most absurd mistakes in a propaganda campaign that they somehow continued to make even worse. Before we went to the surrender point, I recorded a video of myself, clearly visible and in good health. Just 32 hours later, they put me in front of the cameras looking very different, while insisting I had been treated well and was speaking freely.
In the middle of everything else, I remember feeling a small sense of satisfaction. They were so determined to push the lie that they ended up exposing the truth themselves. In trying to convince the world that I had been treated well, they instead showed exactly what they do to prisoners, and how little they cared whether anyone could see it.
The sad thing is I was only one example. There are countless others who went through the same treatment, and far worse. Torture, beatings, murder, and every kind of...
