Something Chinese, the logo is of the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, have been fished up near the Lombok Strait.

To me, it looks like an eye bolt at the "stern" so possibly a moored sensor buoy of some sort rather than a UUV. https://twitter.com/nuwangzi/status/2041503852273217867#m

@crazytexdoc: Many Trump supporters have no limit on what Trump says or what he does. If Trump nuked Iran tomorrow and killed millions of Iranians, these people would support it. Instead of condemning such destructive actions they support them.

Furthermore, they either don’t know or ignore the fact of how much Ukraine is harmed by the war in Iran 🇮🇷

1. The chance of them receiving anymore Patriot missiles from the US or being sold them into the next year or two is close to 0, meaning Ukraine is left completely defenseless against Russian ballistic missiles, a couple days ago Russia launched 11 ballistic missiles at Ukraine, 10 Iskander-Ms and one Kinzhals. All 11 ballistic missiles 100% of them struck their target because Ukraine is on its last stock of Patriot missiles, as 3,000 were used for Iran.

2. Weapon orders which Europe paid for, orders from US manufacturers have been indefinitely delayed, meaning Ukraine isn’t going to be receiving nearly a billion dollars of weaponry that they were supposed to receive, due to the war in Iran, and likely won’t receive it for years, which includes several different types of weaponry. As a result, more innocent Ukrainians will be killed by Russia.

3. Russia is gaining over $10 billion to $15 billion more per month from the increase in oil and gas prices. Luckily, Ukraine has mitigated some of that effect, not due to the war in Iran or the US, but because they are striking Russian oil infrastructure and ports daily with long-range UAVs.

4. The US has used up around 25% of its long-range missiles. Meaning Ukraine won’t be getting ATACMS, or even a small amount of JASSM or Tomahawks, before there was a chance, now it’s no longer a possibility because the US depleted +2-3 year of its stockpile. Meaning, Ukraine won’t be able to strike and destroy Russian factories producing missiles and drones being launched at Ukraine, with these US-made missiles, making these factories much harder to destroy and safer from attacks.

5. Iran has not been shipping Shahed UAVs to Russia for two years. There is a misconception among people, that stopping Iran would mean Russia would launch less drones and missiles at Ukraine. In reality, every Shahed drone and missile Russia launches at Ukraine today, is made in Russia, with the exception of a few North Korean KN-23 missiles. In fact, Russia launched nearly 6,500 long-range drones at Ukraine in the month of March, more long-range drones than they have ever launch at Ukraine during any month of the war.

6. The focus has shifted away from Ukraine, the US is now in a multi-month war in the Middle East again, and there is no clear path to end it. The vast majority of weapons are going to that region. Russia realizes this and supplies weapons to Iran, so the US can continue to focus on the Middle East, use up its weapons on Iran (meaning they won’t go to Ukraine or be used against Russia).

@WarMonitor3 @snowflakeFella: What kind of sick person would say something like this? Remarks like these only play into the Iranian regime’s hands and push Iranians even more against the US

It’s what Putin does to Ukraine so now Trump wants to do the same, destroy a country and leave its civilians in ruins

@1stFinFreecorps: Chinese research- and survey ships are quite active in what can be considered their areas of interest, but their activities are not something I know much details about.

@WarMonitor3: Trump is planning to destroy Iran’s energy infrastructure, so civilians would be without electricity in blackouts, the healthcare system may collapse, transportation would be severely limited, and Iran would be improvised for decades. That would accomplish, serious harm to civilians and turn them even more against the US.

Let’s not minimize or try to justify everything Trump says and does. He learned from Putin that this was okay, and now is trying to do the same with Iran, he couldn’t care less about the Iranian people. If he had the opportunity to, he would send hundreds of thousands of Americans to do a ground invasion of Iran, leading to several thousands of American deaths, but since it would end his parties political ambitions and control for years, and turn Americans against him, he isn’t doing that. Trump wants to destroy Iran’s energy, rail, and bridge infrastructure to impact every person in Iran, in hopes that living conditions get so bad, that they might turn against the regime. Historically that doesn’t work, destroying another country turns the civilians against the attackers bombing, more than their leadership.

He stated “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.” What kind of a sick individual says that about another country? That’s a lot more than just raids on islands near the Strait of Hormuz.

Let’s not minimize or try to justify everything Trump says and does. That would seriously harm civilians and turn them even more against the US. Trump learned from Putin that this is acceptable in the World, and now is trying to do the same with Iran, he couldn’t care less about the Iranian people.

If he had the opportunity to, he would send hundreds of thousands of Americans to do a ground invasion of Iran, leading to several thousands of American deaths, but since it would end his party’s political ambitions and control for years, and turn the remaining 32% of Americans against him, he isn’t doing that.

@WarMonitor3: Trump isn’t trying to end the war, he’s making the most reckless and escalatory comments, threatening to destroy Iran’s civilization and have a disproportionate impact on civilians.

He should have never been elected as President. He’s a warmonger and turns US allies against us.

@1stFinFreecorps: Kind of fascinating to see this increased interest in this range, coming from the land of the 6.5x55 and where this cartridge, after 133 years, remains very popular in civilian use.

For general military use, I do see the "new exotics" as a solution in search of a problem though

RT @FPRI: "During 2025, the Russian military continued to experiment with improving its employment of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) in support of its maneuver forces. It actively records statistics on the effectiveness and success of different types of UAS in its units and develops recommendations for improving their efficiency."
