The Pentagon 🇺🇸 has canceled their press conference for tomorrow, which would’ve been hosted by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine
No reason was given, but it could be related to planned military action against Iran 🇮🇷

RT @NotWoofers: Satellite footage shows the aftermath of yesterday’s drone strikes against Novorossiysk naval base as well and the Sheshkaris oil terminal. Viable burn damage is noted on the bow of the Admiral Makarov, while damage can also be spotted at multiple points of the oil terminal, including at the berth 1 and 2 and near the pipeline’s shutoff systems. https://twitter.com/NotWoofers/status/2040899341729038414#m

@Incidental41__: You're barking up the wrong tree. I actually like Bibi but he shouldn't get a free pass for being unnecessarily deferential to Russia and using his relationship with Putin to try to win votes.

RT @michaeldweiss: The old excuse for why Israel doesn’t help Ukraine was the deconfliction mechanism with the Russians in Syria. But the Russians aren’t flying combat missions in Syria anymore. So perhaps that was just an excuse...

@Incidental41__: I bring up Europeans still trying to do business with Russia after Crimea too. Is there an expiry date on criticizing past stupid decisions of politicians?
The picture is really just a metaphor. My main concern is that Israeli policy has been unnecessarily deferential to Russia. It has long been obvious that Russian cooperation with Iran would eventually come to haunt them.

Even viewing the deconfliction argument charitably, it steadily lost credibility as the abysmal performance of the Russian Armed Forces became more apparent throughout 2022. The IDF could have credibly told the Russians in Syria to get out of the way or else.

@MattShel1989 @NSAShips @WeaponScientist: We haven't received (or even asked for, if I had to guess) approval for any AURs. We have been approved for two Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control Systems though. We should see how the FY27 budget/approps cycle shakes out before we submit a LoR.

@MattShel1989 @NSAShips @WeaponScientist: Changing yes. This is a very new development though.
There are other active aerial munitions cases, as far as new ones, LRASM for the P-8s & MQ-9s would be nice.

@MattShel1989 @NSAShips @WeaponScientist: There would be one on each ship but I think the 3rd ship is far enough away that they don't need to be looking to place orders for the mission equipment right now. Things are timed so that they are ready roughly when you need them, otherwise you're paying for storage.

@MattShel1989 @NSAShips @WeaponScientist: The integration is being funded. We'll hopefully have more details on what that might look like in 2 weeks.
