RT @MT_Anderson: The Baseline (Gadzhiyevo & Ura Guba)
The rest of the imagery provides a fairly comprehensive look at the strategic and tactical disposition heading into the spring/summer op tempo.
➡️Gadzhiyevo (SSBN/SSN): A massive footprint in port. Counted 1x Borei-class SSBN, 4x Delta IV SSBNs (not including the decommed Yekaterinburg), and 3x Akula-class SSNs.
➡️Ura Guba (SSN): Spotted 2x Sierra II-class, 2x Victor III-class, though the sub at the bottom of the image could be something else.
Caveat: I always struggle with the Sierra/Victor IDs
Combined with Zapadnaya Litsa, we now have a near-complete picture of the Northern Fleet's baseline posture.

RT @MT_Anderson: NORTHERN FLEET: Strategic Posture & A Surprise
Continuing the Northern Fleet review, Apr 3 Vantor imagery gives us a look at Olenya Guba, Ura Guba, and Gadzhiyevo. While this establishes a solid spring/summer baseline, there is a glaring anomaly.
➡️Looking at the GUGI (special missions) piers at Olenya Guba, both modified Delta-class motherships (Orenburg & Podmoskovye) are currently missing
➡️Only the intelligence ship Yantar and oceanographic vessel Evgeny Gorigledzhan remain in port

RT @The_Lookout_N: Podmoskovye has been missing from her pier since late February, whereabouts unknown.
Orenburg was moved to Nerpa in late July last year. Still not seen anything official but also still suspect she has been decommissioned. https://twitter.com/MT_Anderson/status/2040938493850066969#m

RT @GrangerE04117: There are two vessels potentially inbound to the Mediterranean: Admiral Grigorovich and Soobrazitelny.
One of them might be doing escort duties for the merchant fleet while the other would replace Stoikiy from its nearly half a year station in the Med. (156 days since Nov. 1)

If the Assad regime was still in power, this would be sent straight to Moscow. An in tact Talon seeker is very sensitive technology. The Russians would love to have this.
The US State Department is surely on the phone with Damascus right now. Good example of why the US needs to maintain a friendly working relationship with al-Sharaa. https://twitter.com/Easybakeovensz/status/2041169525161234650#m
