According to Dosye Shpiona (usually a reliable source), the commander of the Russian Northern Fleet's Mixed Aviation Corps, Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshenko, could've been killed in the crash of Antonov An-26 plane in the Crimea on March 31, 2026.

In addition to him, six officers from the headquarters of the Northern Fleet could have also been killed in the crash.

The Mixed Aviation Corps of the Northern Fleet was established in 2023 on the basis of the 45th Air Force and Air Defense Army, which was then transferred to the newly formed Leningrad Military District.
