🔸USAF E-7 MTA Contract (2023) definitized in 2024 covers 2 E-7 aircraft. E-7 #1 is in the UK currently being converted.
🔸USAF E-7 follow on modification worth $2+ Billion awarded in March 2026 under a Congressional mandate funds more aircraft using FY'26 RDT&E funds. These are the engineering and manufacturing development phase aircraft.
🔸Beyond these 3-5 aircraft (sum total of the two funding actions outlined above), the future of the rest of the fleet is still undecided. That will be hashed out between Congress and the DAF during the FY'27 NDAA process given the advanced procurement funding needed for follow on phase. https://twitter.com/hissgoescobra/status/2038301297758404655#m
