In total, the USAF let go of more than a dozen E-3 aircraft in the 2023-2024 timeframe. @thinkdefence: No clue. I have spoken to senior generals about the lessons from Ukraine, and they are receptive and recognize that we have much to learn from Ukrainians. I think part of the problem might be organizational incentives and maybe unclear responsibilities for pulling these lessons and spreading them across the force.
