RT @ragipsoylu: NEW: Turkey reveals that a NATO Maritime Component Command would be established on the Bosporus in Istanbul.
The news was casually reported by the ministry as they were reporting on a visit by Major General Jean-Pierre Fague (France), Commander of the Multinational Force Ukraine Operational Headquarters (MNF-U OHQ), and Deputy Commander Major General Richard Stewart Charles Bell (United Kingdom) to Istanbul.
The visit was received by Rear Admiral (LH) Özgür Erken, Commander of the Istanbul Strait Command, Rear Admiral (LH) Birol Orak, Commander of the Mine Fleet Command, as well as the personnel from the Maritime Component Command.

RT @NavalInstitute: #OTD in 1942, HMS Campbeltown rammed the gates of the Normandie dry dock at St.Nazaire in German-occupied France. Commandos then disembarked to destroy machinery and other targets. The delayed-action explosives hidden on Campbeltown detonated hours later, knocking the dock out of service for the remainder of the war and killing several senior German officers who were touring the ship. HMS Campbeltown had been USS Buchanan before being transferred to the Royal Navy in the Destroyers for Bases Agreement.

An interceptor drone operated by Russia's "Rubikon" Drone Operations Center targets a Ukrainian E-300 Enterprise ultralight aircraft converted into a long-range one-way attack UAV (OWA-UAV).
Such OWA-UAVs are employed by the Ukrainians for strikes on targets in Russia's deep rear.
