RT @kriegsforscherD: From time to time, a discussion about undocumented Russian losses in terms of equipment appears on the Internet. I may assume that all the calculations might be far from reality.

I am not trying to literally guess about the percentage of undocumented losses, but I may add the most recent facts:

- 2 new tanks from Spring 2022 from the Sumy direction;
- 1 new tank from Spring 2022 from the Kherson direction;
- 1 MTLB and 1 DT30 from Spring 2022 from Kyiv direction;
- 1 BMP-3 from Spring 2022 from the Zaporizha direction

Including the fact that Kyiv and Sumy areas were fully liberated and still 4 new vehicles appeared (with the help of OSINT) for the last couple of months tells a lot.

I want to remind you that there were heavy fights against the Central Military District and the 2 AC in the Lugansk area during the summer of 2022, and we have only a small amount of losses being documented from those battles.

Captured T-80U. Spring 2022. Sumy direction.

@RALee85: The few times we've seen them it all looked a bit lackluster, small warhead, not drastically more reliable, expensive

@moklasen: I have heard mixed views. Some units say they are very effective when employed correctly, others who focus on the limitations. They can hit targets at greater depths than FPVs, but the cost is the main question. There are other options that are cheaper.

RT @MT_Anderson: Where is Iran getting its high-res BDA? Check the Chinese commercial archive. 👇
Recent pulls show heavy 30-50cm optical tasking by China Siwei over regional US/Allied bases just this past week.

The IMINT Pipeline:
➡️Unlike US private equity firms (Vantor), Siwei is a direct pillar of the PRC state (CASC/SASAC).
➡️They sell this data globally via SpaceWill, acting as the commercial storefront for China's state-owned satellite apparatus.
➡️SuperView Neo’s massive 42km swath width allows them to sweep an entire base or an underway SAG in a single pass.

US firms are no longer the only game in town for 30cm spatial intelligence. https://twitter.com/chris_komatsu/status/2036625827564052828#m

@greendoorintell: I didn't say the US would lose, but combat experience with these exact UAS has shown it is much more challenging than in a training environment that cannot replicate what you see in Donetsk region.

@VictorishB123 @moklasen: Yes, and more accurate when they use a repeater. I'm glad they are improving the system based on combat experience.

RT @Jeff21461: 🇪🇸 The Spanish Indra and the South Korean Hanwha Aerospace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly offer a 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer to the Spanish military for its tracked howitzer requirement.

Development work will be headed by Indra and will be largely based on the K9, which is to be paired with a Spanish chassis.

RT @mobbs_mentality: Meeting with representatives from a country sharing intel with Iran so they can better kill U.S. service members during ongoing military operations is indefensible. No serious nation should treat this as routine engagement.

RT @michaeldweiss: Interesting development.

“In 2023, ships plying the Caspian carried more than 300,000 artillery shells and a million rounds of ammunition from Iran to Russia, according to documents viewed by the Journal at the time.”

"Ukraine is preparing 'key changes' to both mobilization and the prevention of soldiers going AWOL in an effort to address the military's chronic manpower shortage and better resist Russia's war on the front line, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said on March 25.

The announcement came after Fedorov met with assault soldiers and infantrymen from 13 different units fighting across the front line, he wrote on Facebook.

'We discussed the real situation at the front and recorded problematic issues;' Fedorov wrote, 'the duration of stay in positions, the complexity of entries and exits, complicated logistics under constant drone attacks, shortage of people, the quality of training of servicemen, provision of drones and necessary equipment, morale and communication on the front line.'"

@CrispinBurke: It requires months of planning to test a UAV in a GPS-denied environment, and electronic warfare is constantly changing. There is only one place to test UAVs in a real combat environment against a military with strong EW capabilities. FPV interceptors are also a challenge that I don't think are properly understood.
