🚨🇺🇸🇰🇼 State Dept approves $8 billion emergency FMS to Kuwait

The US State Department has invoked the AECA emergency clause to approve a possible Foreign Military Sale to Kuwait of 8 Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) radars, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $8 billion.

This would make Kuwait the 2nd international customer for LTAMDS, behind Poland.

Also approved for emergency FMS to UAE:

1 long-range discrimination radar integrated with Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD); 12 Sentinel A4 uplinkers; 2 THAAD C3 Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) tactical operations stations; and 2 THAAD C3 TFCC launch and control stations, plus associated equipment & services, for an estimated $4.5 billion.

400 AIM-120C-7 or AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs), plus associated equipment & services, for an estimated cost of $1.22 billion.

1,500 GBU-39/B Small Diameter Bombs Increment I; 900 KMU-556 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) guidance sets; and 300 KMU-557 JDAM guidance sets, plus associated equipment & services for an estimated cost of $644 million.

RT @DanLamothe: In statement, @CENTCOM spokesman Navy Capt. Tim Hawkins says:

"We are aware of reports that a U.S. F-35 aircraft conducted an emergency landing at a regional U.S airbase after flying a combat mission over Iran. The aircraft landed safely, and the pilot is in stable condition. This incident is under investigation."

I asked whether CNN's reporting that it's believed the jet was hit with Iranian fire is true.

Centcom officials decline to say either way.

A decent number of IFVs were stopped with the help of remotely placed mines. Massacre.

We knew that they were planning to attack. Everyone was prepared.

Two days ago, at Porkovsk direction, the 6th tank regiment attacked and lost 3 BMP-2, 1 tank, and approximately 10 ATVs. A lot of other equipment and personnel were lost near other villages at Pokrovsk direction.
