The US military isn’t going to go into Iran unless Trump has completely lost his mind and wants to put hundreds of thousands of US troops into Iran to do regime change. The main military threat of ballistic missile production and the nuclear program was destroyed, the regime cannot be changed by bombing, and it isn’t politically or practically sustainable to continue the war for years or months

The people can overthrow the regime; it can’t be bombed out. That’s been America’s main mistake with wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam: trying to change leadership, wasting trillions of dollars, and decades of war, when only the people of the country can change the leadership.
