⚡️ The US is deploying a Marine expeditionary unit and more warships to the Middle East region as Iran steps up attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, three US officials told WSJ.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has approved a request from CENTCOM for an element of an amphibious ready group and attached Marine expeditionary unit, typically consisting of several warships and around 2,500 Marines.

RT @OSINTua: The Russians have in their arsenal a rather controversial drone - "Molniya". Due to the mass, the enemy can sometimes spend 3-5 such drones on one target (half will be shot down by Ukrainian IN drones). A cheap and mass-produced product certainly has an integral place in this war.
But "Molniya" is far from the concept of "accurate". It is quite easy to submit via EW. But due to the mass, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to react to these launches.
In 2025, the Russians produced almost 1 million "Molniya" drones. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy, on average, about 2,000 such FPVs on the entire front line every day.
65% of the losses to such drones are inflicted by the EW of the Armed Forces, the rest by the IN and other means. The number of drones that reach the target is around 8-9%.
Several measures practically neutralize this threat, and they should be implemented in a complex. But, in my opinion, one of the most important is to...

❗️🇺🇸 Raytheon has completed a 26,000sq-ft expansion of its Redstone Missile Integration Facility in AL
The $115 million capital investment will increase production capacity by over 50%.
The entire family of Standard Missile AURs are assembled here, and the Glide Phase Interceptor will be as well.

"I think he might be helping him a little bit, yeah, I guess. And he probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?"

@WarMonitor3: Because he loves Putin and Russia
How hard is that for people to understand? Who is suprised by this? Anyone who knows Trump’s stance in Ukraine, knew it was a possibility
Even though Ukraine makes 4 million combat UAVs per year, and US only ~100,000, he won’t work with Ukraine

US President Trump says the US doesn't need Ukraine's help with drones.
"No, we don't need their help in drone defense. We know more about drones than anybody. We have the best drones in the world, actually."

"Large missile capacity per launcher. A single Patriot launcher accommodates 16 PAC-3 missiles,"
There's some conflation between PAC-3/CRI & PAC-3 MSE in this release. A M903 launcher holds 12 MSEs, not 16. Ukraine has received MSEs from Germany, not PAC-3/CRIs. https://twitter.com/DefenceU/status/2032436654611247258#m
