⚡️ The US is deploying a Marine expeditionary unit and more warships to the Middle East region as Iran steps up attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, three US officials told WSJ.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has approved a request from CENTCOM for an element of an amphibious ready group and attached Marine expeditionary unit, typically consisting of several warships and around 2,500 Marines.

The $115 million capital investment will increase production capacity by over 50%.
The entire family of Standard Missile AURs are assembled here, and the Glide Phase Interceptor will be as well.
