❗️🇺🇸 MDA has definitized the SM-3 IB UCA. This $267 million modification adds scope for 23 additional SM-3 IB AURs. We could be looking at a unit price of $11.6 million for the FY24/FY25 synergy buy, compared to the originally budgeted $12.5 million for FY24 alone.
23 is the number of additional missiles that the Pentagon said they would procure using reconciliation funding.
SM-3 IB MAX production capacity is 60 per year.
