They refused to agree on official apologies, dragged things out in an insulting and openly rude manner, came up with absurd excuses to avoid paying compensation, and so on.
As I understand it, the diplomatic case of the Ukrainian Boeing 737 shot down in early 2020 by a Russian-provided Tor-M1 system (all 176 people on board killed) still hasn’t been fully resolved.
And now diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Iran are effectively minimised due to the regime’s involvement in Russia’s war of aggression.

@gordiegordie1: F-35 is perfectly suitable for arctic & remote ops. The USAF has over 50 F-35s permanently based at Eielson AFB, which way further north than any base we could conceivably try to fly larger numbers of aircraft from. You haven't got a clue.
