@WarMonitor3: Remember, there is no way Iran can get intelligence on whether an attack was successful. Maybe they could launch missiles at the presumed location of the aircraft carrier, which is moving. Probably, a +99% chance they missed, but even if they hit it, they wouldn’t know the result

@ukraine_map @WarMonitor3: Unless they had a reconnaissance UAV directly over the ship and could direct strikes, even then, the missiles would almost certainly miss or get shot down. The drone would also likely be shot down once it’s spotted by the US.

It’s the first indigenously produced surface combatant of significant combat capability for the Iranian Navy. It’s equipped with anti-ship missiles and torpedoes
