@no4649872314: Yes, components of PAC-3 MSE are built in Europe. The missiles are assembled in the US & Japan. Germany doesn't have many missiles left to give because they didn't buy very many to begin with. Why is this difficult to understand?

@no4649872314: Missile defense interceptors will never reliably outnumber incoming threats. The US produces 620 PAC-3 MSE per year. Russia produces thousands of missiles. Of those 620, the US has to replenish their own depleted inventories, and supply other paying customers aside from Ukraine via PURL & whatever might be outstanding on USAI contract.

@RyanRuck: A lot being done on missiles already. Raytheon's performance on radar deliveries leaves much to be desired. Calio talked about doing more there just today, 4 years later.

@DrPaulyDeSantis: Conversations are still preliminary, as far as I can tell. Rheinmetall needs to demonstrate competency in less sophisticated missiles before moving to something as advanced as MSE. SRM and AUR production will start with Hellfire and ATACMS. If this is successful, there's a stronger business case for MSE.
