Everyone using the same product is good, the issue is how it gets developed. I have serious doubts that 6 countries, France being one of them, are going to be able to quickly develop and introduce such a munition into production. You lose economy of scale by having 6 separate AUR assembly lines too.

🇳🇴Norway is set to finance the procurement of French-made AASM Hammer precision-guided bombs for Ukraine, allocating €365 million for the effort.
P.S: I sincerely hope that a meaningful portion of these funds will go toward expanding production capacity. The AASM Hammer is an excellent system, highly capable, accurate, and combat-proven.
However, its limited production rate severely restricts its impact. Open-source data suggests annual output stands at around 1,200 units per year. That translates to roughly 3,3 bombs per day, hardly enough to sustain even two combat sorties daily with standard loadouts. At such rates, the system simply cannot demonstrate its full operational potential.
To be clear, I believe the AASM Hammer is a fairly priced top-tier product and in many respects it matches or even surpasses American equivalents such as JDAM. And I believe that in larger quantities they could influence the situation at the front....
