Back to the article though, I think the main issue here with the security guarantees to Ukraine is the willingness, or lack of such, to potentially go to war with Russia over Ukraine.
I don't blame frontline countries such as Finland for being skeptical and treating this as the serious matter it is.

Most of the claimed Russian control territory in southeastern Dnipropetrovsk was DRGs and flag wavers who never consolidated positions.
