The Presidency announced that a preliminary deal has been reached with the #SDF commander, granting a 4-day consultation period to propose a plan for integrating Kurdish-majority areas into the State.

If a final agreement is reached, Defense Ministry's troops will not enter these areas, which will instead be protected by local forces.

SDF commander will also submit candidates for the positions of Deputy Defense Minister, Governor of Hasakah and other provincial officials.
