The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a 46-year-old collaborator in Kherson who had been hiding in a basement for four years following the city’s liberation from Russian invaders.
He previously served a prison sentence for murder and, during the occupation, cooperated with Russian forces, including distributing propaganda in support of joining the Russian Federation. https://twitter.com/ServiceSsu/status/2013204798401589653#m

“Ukraine is holding off on additional orders for strike drones from Helsing, Europe’s most valuable defense tech startup, after the company’s weapon systems faced problems in front line tests in battle, according to a German military presentation and people familiar with the matter.
The German company’s flagship strike drone, the HX-2, had trouble taking off in tests by Ukraine’s 14th Regiment, an unmanned aerial systems unit, according to the Nov. 20 internal presentation that was prepared by a group within the German Defense Ministry. The model, which was supposed to include artificial intelligence components designed to help it steer without a pilot, lacked some of those tools, the presentation said.”

At this stage, the best way to get real impact with limited funding is to directly support Ukrainian manufacturers who work inside the operational environment.
For example, as a developer of the Ukrainian loitering munition Bulava recently explained, foreign producers simply can’t get the same fast, detailed battlefield feedback. Ukrainian teams are in constant contact with frontline units, so drones built just weeks apart can already be very different, shaped by real combat experience. Different units may even receive samples with different technical solutions at the same time.
Foreign companies, on the other hand, are tied to international bureaucracy, strict contracts, and compliance, which slows everything down. A domestic producer will almost always be faster and more flexible when adapting to the specific conditions of their own country. https://twitter.com/Jeff21461/status/2013220845443776586#m
