Well, that’s exactly what a geolocator does — verify a location and prove it using supporting evidence such as satellite imagery, Street View, and other reference footage.
Just because you know where something is doesn’t mean the rest of the world does. Mitch did precisely what every competent geolocator does.
It also seems you don’t understand how quote tweeting works:
When a geolocator verifies a location, they confirm the WHERE, not the WHY or WHAT happened. They often can’t verify the reporting itself — that’s a separate part of OSINT work. They just 'Quote' it.
Mitch quote tweeted OSINTDefender, so if you have an issue with the wording, take it up with @OSINTdefender, not Mitch.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 US President Trump is weighing a series of potential military options in Iran amid ongoing protests in the country, two US officials told CNN.
- A number of options presented to Trump focused on targeting Iranian security services involved in a crackdown on demonstrations;
- US President is also considering a number of options intended to target Iran’s regime that stop short of military strikes: cyberattacks and new sanctions;
- More formal briefings are expected in the coming week, including on Tuesday, when Trump is expected to convene senior national security officials to discuss how to proceed;
- US President Trump has not yet made a final decision on intervention, the officials said, but he is seriously considering action as the death toll in Iran continues to rise;
- The options that the president is considering do not involve putting boots on the ground in Iran, a senior White House official told CNN.
