RT @avivector: Russia Continues Testing Second S-70 Okhotnik Prototype After Failure in Ukraine

In 2025, active testing of the second prototype of the Russian S-70 Okhotnik combat UAV is ongoing at the 929th State Flight Test Center.

Over the past year, the S-70 Okhotnik (072) appeared at least three times on satellite imagery: on April 22, August 27, and October 14.

The first S-70 prototype (071) was shot down by a Russian Su-57 fighter over the frontline area of Ukraine in October 2024 after losing contact with the UAV.

The second prototype has a significant difference in camouflage compared to the first, resembling the camouflage of the Su-57.

The gas infrastructure in Lviv Oblast WAS NOT the target of yesterday's Russian Oreshnik missile strike, a Ukrainian People's Deputy Serhiy Nahornyak said. According to him, a different object was hit.

The mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi informed that a critical infrastructure object in the city of Lviv was hit, without specifying what it was.

Ukrainian military radio technology expert Serhii Flash: "To help you understand the energy of the striking elements of this blow, here's one example: it broke through two floor slabs and burned the entire collection of Lenin's works in the building (the archives in the basement). I'm not kidding."

‼️ Ukraine’s Security Service Demonstrates Debris of “Oreshnik” Missile Used in Attack on Lviv Region;

Strike Classified as a War Crime
The Security Service of Ukraine has located and documented debris from a Russian ballistic missile used in an attack on Ukraine’s Lviv region during the night of 8–9 January 2026.

According to preliminary findings, the recovered components belong to the “Oreshnik” missile system. Among the items identified at the crash sites are:
•a stabilization and guidance unit (the missile’s core control system);
•components of the propulsion system;
•fragments of the orientation and alignment mechanism;
•nozzles from the missile’s post-boost dispersion module, among others.

All recovered debris has been formally recognized as physical evidence and is being prepared for in-depth forensic and technical examinations.
