Disinformation: Claims of Hugo Chávez's Mausoleum Being Bombed

For days, certain individuals have claimed that Hugo Chávez's mausoleum was bombed.

We previously conducted a fact-check proving that the images used in those claims were from a different location: https://twitter.com/GeoConfirmed/status/2007488139225432324

Now, a new image is circulating.

The earliest source we could find is this TikTok post: https://www.tiktok.com/@jc.chucky/photo/7591132912209136904.

What gave it away?
The color difference—the buildings are a different color. The AI-altered picture appears to originate from 2013, based on the colors of the buildings.

The closest real match we found is this Getty Images photo of the museum:
