RT @ChristopherJM: Poland will force real estate developers to allocate space for bomb shelters in most new buildings from 2026, as the frontline state confronts the mammoth task of overhauling its lacklustre civilian defences against the threat of Russian aggression, @RaphaelMinder reports.

REPORTER: Some are saying that the recent attacks in the past couple of days that Russia has staged against Ukraine shows that President Putin isn't serious about peace. What is your reaction to that?

US PRESIDENT TRUMP: No, he's very serious. I think I can say that I believe Ukraine has made some very strong attacks also. And I don't say that negatively. I think she probably have to. (turning to Zelensky) I don't say that negatively. But I think, and he doesn't tell me that, that there have been some explosions in various parts of Russia. And it looks to me like, I don't know, I don't think it came from the Congo. I don't think it came from the United States of America. It possibly came from Ukraine, but I haven't asked that question. Maybe I won't bother asking.

RT @OstapYarysh: Trump: This gentleman (Zelenskyy) has worked very hard, he's very brave, and his people are very brave. Very rarely has a nation ever had to go through this. We're gonna have a very good meeting today, I think. And I'm also calling President Putin back after the meeting, and we'll continue the negotiation.

The fall of Siversk - commanders of 🇺🇦54th Mechanized and 10th Mountain brigades dismissed.

With Russian forces gradually advancing towards the city of Siversk in the autumn, it became clear that Ukrainian units here were severely understrength.

Now, after the settlement has been occupied, investigations have been launched on the two key 🇺🇦brigades in the area: 54th Mechanized and 10th Mountain Assault.
The main accusations are the covering up of lost positions and lies in reports about the frontline.
As reported by Ukrainska Pravda, the brigade commanders have been removed and a new tactical group - a temporary headquarters element - has been given control of the sector.
Siversk was previously in the 11th Army Corps' area of responsibility, along with the Chasiv Yar direction.

While this was one of the most solid parts of the frontline for over two years, the loss of Bilohorivka in spring 2025 proved to be fatal for the "Siversk arc" - in the late summer, the 🇺🇦53rd Mechanized and 81st Airmobile brigades retreated out of the Serebryanka forest, with Russians reaching the outskirts of Yampil.

In the autumn, 🇷🇺 pressure was applied east and southeast of Siversk, forcing Ukrainian units to retreat to the city itself.
All three 🇺🇦brigades (81st, 54th and 10th) have been deployed here since the end of 2022.
The effect that the lack of rotations and reduced personnel replenishment have had on these units can not be understated.
An additional factor might have been the transfer of the 🇺🇦National Guard's 4th Rubizh Brigade from this direction to the Dobropillya front in July.

Now, the newly reconstituted 🇺🇦Tactical Group "Soledar" (which previously existed until 2024) has been deployed to oversee the brigades and provide...
